IDENTIFICATION OF THE MARKED CODE ON THE REAR AXLE OF A CAR

Goal: Identification of the marked code on the rear axle of a car

Components: Mobile identification unit consisting of a sensor, light, data base computer

After fixing the axle on the inspection table, the operator puts the identification unit on the marked code and triggers the sensor from the push button on the unit. Using the OCR/OCV tools on the camera, characters are being trained on the sensor first, and recognized by the sensor when read. On the display above the inspection table the read code is displayed and input automatically in the data base.
